Who Is Mariek Witlox?

I'm a certified executive coach (EMCC Global / NOBCO) and change consultant with over 27 years of hands-on leadership experience across global corporations, scale-ups, and startups.

 

Originally from the Netherlands, I have worked across Europe and beyond, bringing a global perspective and multicultural fluency to every coaching and consulting engagement. I've led organizational transformations, built high-performance commercial teams, and navigated the high-stakes decisions that define careers and companies.

That real-world executive background is what sets my coaching apart. I don't just ask powerful questions — I understand your world from the inside. I use a broad range of evidence-based tools and frameworks — including Reiss Motivation Profile, DISC, and behavioral and communication methodologies — to help you understand yourself and the people around you at a deeper level. Self-awareness is the foundation of everything: better decisions, stronger relationships, and more effective leadership.

My coaching approach is forward-thinking and rooted in a growth mindset. I focus on behavior and communication — the two levers that change how you show up, how others experience you, and ultimately what you are able to achieve.
